Do you like taking responsibility and would you enjoy managing teams and achieving visible results in stores together with colleagues? At CPM Benelux we are looking for enthusiastic Foremen and Forewomen (Team Leaders) in the Groningen and Drenthe area. You will work at locations of well-known retailers such as Jumbo, Xenos, and Welkoop, where you ensure that store layouts run smoothly, efficiently, and according to schedule. You actively work on the floor, are the point of contact for colleagues and store staff, and see the results of your work every day! Sounds good? Then this position is for you!
What we offer you:- A good salary of €20.29 gross per hour (including holiday days and holiday pay).
- Weekly payment of your salary.
- Flexible working with a 0-hour contract; you decide when and how often you work.
- 100% reimbursement of your travel costs if you travel by public transport.
- Reimbursement of €0.23 net + €0.085 gross per km if you travel with your own car, or use of a rental car.
At CPM Benelux you work for major retailers like Jumbo, Xenos, and Welkoop. The assortment in these stores changes regularly, meaning the store layout needs to be adjusted. As a Foreman/Forewoman Store Layout, you manage a team of store layout staff during these projects. You divide the tasks, monitor progress and quality, and coordinate with store management on site. You also actively participate in the store layout yourself. Together with your team, you empty, build, and stock shelves according to shelf plans. You maintain an overview, ensure everyone knows what is expected, and step in when the schedule demands it. The great thing? You combine a leadership role with hands-on work on the shop floor.
Does this job suit you?We are looking for colleagues who get energy from managing teams, dare to take responsibility, and like to roll up their sleeves. Experience as a foreman, team leader, store layout worker, or merchandiser is a plus, but your motivation is just as important. Furthermore:
- You enjoy managing colleagues, dividing tasks, and motivating teams.
- You can maintain a good overview.
- You like working on the floor and setting a good example.
- The work requires some physical effort, such as lifting products and moving store materials. No problem for you!
- You live in the Groningen/Drenthe area.
- You have a category B driver's license.
- You are available at least 3 weekdays.
- Our recruiter will contact you by phone.
- A digital introduction via Microsoft Teams.
- Positive impression? Then you can start quickly!

Since this role requires a category B driver's license and travel across Groningen and Drenthe, you can easily plan your shifts around your lectures at the University of Groningen or Hanze UAS. The flexible zero-hour contract is ideal for students, but remember you must be available for at least three weekdays. Be sure to check the Dutch language proficiency requirements in the original posting, as you will be managing local teams and communicating directly with Dutch store managers on-site.
