Part-time Mail Deliverer on Scooter

Working days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.

What will you do?

A job with more freedom than a mail deliverer? Doesn't exist. As a mail deliverer on a scooter, you work independently and decide your own working hours every day. From a birthday card to an important letter, you deliver it all for PostNL in an area you know inside out.

This is what your workday looks like:

• You start by collecting the mail at the depot near you. The mail is ready and you only need to put it in your bags: everything is already sorted by street and house number.
• What time you pick up the mail? You decide, as long as it is before 15:00.
• Then you ride your round on a PostNL scooter, at times that suit you best, as long as all mail is in the mailboxes by 18:00 at the latest.

Extra fun as a mail deliverer: You work independently, but never feel alone. You quickly become a familiar face in the neighborhood and build nice contacts with residents and colleagues. And because you are active, you work on your fitness without even noticing!

What do you bring?

• Anyone from 16 years old can become a mail deliverer.
• You are aware that you are the face of PostNL, work accurately, and are customer-oriented.
• You have a valid (scooter) driver's license.
• You are available for at least 7 months.
• You are fit enough to ride for a few hours and lift mailbags of up to 23 kg.
• You speak good Dutch or English to communicate with colleagues and supervisors.
• You have a smartphone to use during work.
• You are flexible to ride in different neighborhoods, as you do not always have a fixed route.
• You will need a Certificate of Conduct (VOG), which will be fully reimbursed.

What we deliver to you:
