Your workplaceThe new museum café is "eclectic", a bit crazy, and a hodgepodge of high-end and low-budget. The restaurant and the menu are Italian-oriented, with a focus mainly on vegetarian and vegan dishes made with local products. Besides the cozy restaurant, we also have a beautiful espresso bar and we handle all catering within the museum in Groningen. Our 100-150 guests per day are a mix of visitors and local residents. We are open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 17:30, and during holidays we are also open on Mondays.
Your teamOur cozy team consists of 15 employees, including 4 full-timers.
Your roleDuring your internship, you will gain practical experience! You will ensure that guests are helped in a friendly manner, that dishes and products are well-presented, that the restaurant looks clean and tip-top, and you will perform cash register duties. You ensure that guests have a great hospitality experience. You will do your internship at a cool location. You will learn a lot here!
