The role

In this role, you make sure that guests truly feel welcome. You are the first point of contact, provide attentive service and actively think about how we can make the guest experience even better. And all of this in a unique, luxurious environment where quality and experience are central.

At the resort, there are multiple hospitality venues, each with its own atmosphere. Think of an atmospheric restaurant for an elaborate dinner, a family restaurant with accessible dishes, or a welcoming place where guests can go for breakfast, lunch or drinks. You enjoy working in one or more of these environments and adapting your service accordingly.

You are the face of our hospitality. In your service, our GAST values come to life: Hospitable, Ambitious, Together and Proud. You help guests with genuine attention, work seamlessly with colleagues and always think one step ahead. This way, you contribute to an atmosphere in which guests feel truly welcome, from the first contact to the last drink.

In addition, you actively contribute to our mission: making Hof van Saksen the most extraordinary resort in Europe!

What you will do

  • Welcome, advise and serve guests with genuine attention
  • Take orders, serve them and ensure that everything runs smoothly
  • Think about ways to continually improve the guest experience
  • Ensure that the restaurant has a neat and inviting appearance
  • Work well with colleagues in the service and kitchen

Who you are

You enjoy interacting with people and effortlessly put a smile on their faces. You remain calm when it is busy, adapt quickly and enjoy working with others. In addition:

  • You have experience in hospitality or the motivation to learn the profession
  • You are flexible and available to work, including in the evenings and at weekends
  • You speak Dutch well – additional language skills are a bonus
  • You have an eye for detail and a proactive attitude

A reference check is part of the selection procedure.

What we offer

Together, we do everything we can to offer our guests and colleagues the very best. If you join us, we reward your work with:

  • A salary between €2.448 and €2.951 gross per month on a full-time basis
  • 25 vacation days with a full-time employment contract, so you can really recharge too.
  • A good pension scheme through Pensioenfonds Recreatie, with us paying half of the premium.
  • A schedule that takes your private life into account as much as possible, so work and life remain in balance.
  • In our hospitality operations, you mainly work with families and families with children. This often results in working hours that fit your private life better than you may be used to in hospitality.
  • More than 150 online training courses and practical training programs via Learnit!, so you can continue developing yourself at your own pace and in your profession.
  • Travel expense reimbursement of €0,23 per kilometer. Do you travel by public transport? Then we reimburse your travel expenses in full.
  • Free fitness to stay fit and energetic.
  • Free access to our facilities, such as Pool, Harrewar, Bounz Arena and Adventure Golf – also for your family.
  • An attractive employee discount in our restaurants, Spa & Wellness and Boutique store Gift Shop.
  • 20% discount on a stay at Landal, so you can also enjoy what we offer our guests.
  • Free meal when you work evening hours.
  • A free continuous travel insurance policy for you and your family, so you can travel worry-free.
  • An active employee association that organizes fun activities and fosters connections with colleagues.
  • Fresh fruit at work every day, as a small boost during your day.
